SOTCOT Congress 2024

Dear masters, dear colleagues, dear friends,

I'll have the honor to chair the 39th SOTCOT national congress, to be held on June 6, 7 and 8, 2024 at the Hotel Laïco Hammamet.

This year, in keeping with the policy initiated by our society, Italy will be the guest nation, represented by the SIOT (Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology), which will be sending 7 of its members, including its president.

For us, this was an obvious choice, given the geographical proximity and the high level of Italian orthopedics worldwide. There are also real opportunities for scientific collaboration and partnership, opening up new horizons for our young colleagues.

This year, the study groups of SOTCOT and associated societies have been actively involved in the setting of the scientific program.

In addition to specialized sessions, there will be "free" lectures sessions, an Orthorisq session, "Ask an Expert" and "Tips & Tricks" sessions, as well as oral presentations and posters.

Operating Room personnel will also have a dedicated session.

As every year, the SOTCOT, in partnership with Médis laboratories, will be awarding prizes for the best thesis in orthopaedics, the best oral presentation and the best poster.

Our next congress will also see the holding of our elective general meeting.

As you see, all the ingredients for a successful congress are in place, the most important thing being your presence and active participation in all the activities of our meeting.
